Kaytie Blan, LAC, LPCC-CO (They/Them)
Whether you call it counseling, therapy, or something else; this space is for you! My counseling
philosophy is grounded in a holistic, person-centered framework that affirms each client’s lived
experience. I believe that healing and transformation stems from empowerment, connection, and the integration of understanding oneself holistically. My role is to be as supportive as I can with clients by offering a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to explore all aspects of oneself.
As a Hispanic, white, queer/nonbinary, neurodivergent individual, I strive in providing an inclusive and affirming environment. I am deeply committed to trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, and culturally responsive care that honors the intersections of identity, history, and systemic influence. The complexities of life - historically, present, future - are all impactful. I believe that there is not a “one size fits all” for counseling. Like in life, we will adapt in the therapeutic space to allow you to feel empowered throughout your journey.
At the heart of my work is a commitment to authenticity and creativity - both in the therapeutic process and in how I show up as a counselor. The road to authenticity means change. I describe change as “disgustingly beautiful”, and I am here to be on your side with these changes. The therapeutic relationship is a relationship and not one-sided. We can be human together and grow from one another!
