Meet the Team

Breanne Willey, Owner, LPC-CO, LPC-AZ, NCC, CCM (She/Her)

My approach to many issues we might face is that with a change in our mindset or normal path of thinking, we most likely have solutions to our concerns within ourselves. By changing our mindset or charting a new path we can find healing and peace. Sometimes we have to dig deep and look at situations from a different angle to see how we can take control and make the change we desire to achieve our best. I'm here to help you address areas where you feel like you could be struggling and discover new perspectives to help find a different path forward.

My background is in acute mental health, dual medical and behavioral health, end of life, and military/veteran concerns. I’ve worked with clients as young as 3 up through ages 90 and above. I pride myself in being an excellent listener and bringing a compassionate, open-minded, and understanding therapeutic background to the concerns we will discuss.

Actively working on our mental and physical health can be uncomfortable and overwhelming, and I assure you I will be with you every step of the way. I'm excited you took this first step, and I look forward to taking this journey with you.

Sal Hines, LPCC-CO (She/Her)

My personal philosophy of counseling begins and ends with the wholehearted belief that each person has the capacity for personal growth and change. I entered this field because I feel that I have an authentic listening heart that desires to see people live as healthy and whole human beings.

I believe in a holistic approach to healing, one that encompasses the totality of a person – emotional, spiritual, and physical. I believe that counseling is a pathway to growth and healing. It is an opportunity for a client to explore their own thoughts and feelings in a safe and supportive environment. My professional background includes working as a corrections officer/counselor, volunteer coordinator for a hospital, and as an Army veteran of Desert Storm.

Overall, my philosophy as a counselor is to treat each person as a unique individual, worthy of unconditional acceptance. It is my desire to come alongside, challenge, and encourage my clients to find healing – emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually.

Cameron Em Mais, Counseling Intern (They/Them)

You are the expert on your life. As a counselor, I take a client-centered, culture-centered, anti-oppressive approach. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where we can collaborate on practical and creative solutions to the challenges you
encounter. I believe community and relationships are integral to individual wellness and seek to support clients through creating a healthy counseling relationship, integrating clients’ existing support systems, and/or providing encouragement and skills to
clients as they build new relationships and communities. As a queer, disabled, neurodivergent person, I am passionate about giving back to my community and providing affirming mental health care for individuals from underserved and/or marginalized communities.

I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. My professional background includes work in deinstitutionalization, specifically supporting people with disabilities in transitioning from long-term care institutions to community-based living; and service coordination for uninsured/underinsured individuals seeking substance use disorder treatment.

Kaytlin Blan, Counseling Intern (They/Them)

Life often comes with many obstacles and challenges that affect people in all aspects of life. As a counselor, I recognize the impact of these challenges on lives and how each challenge differs from one another. I apply a person-centered approach with an anti-oppressive lens to support you. I aspire to establish a safe and supportive environment where we can explore the different outcomes you would like to see throughout our therapeutic relationship. Establishing a supportive counseling relationship enhances the safe and welcoming environment to explore identities, challenges, and other aspects of life that impact your journey of personal growth. I intend to provide affirming mental health care for individuals from many communities such as those from marginalized communities.

As for my professional background, I have worked with multiply marginalized youth in both mentor and counseling roles by providing support through the exploration of identities and challenges. I'm currently pursuing my master's degree in clinical mental health counseling at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
